Month-scoped participation is separate from persistent Staff identity. Confirmed workforce is required before a Champion shadow solve.
📅 Monthly Request Workflow
Choose a month and year, bootstrap an explicit monthly scenario from Persistent Staff + Persistent Config, then export or import a request-only workbook. Legacy upload is not required.

Persistent Staff Master is the authority for identity, lifecycle, solver participation, and scheduling attributes.

Persistent Config is the authority for shift catalog and solver settings. Changes require revision match.

Explicit recovery path for the legacy Staff_Master + Request_Calendar + Config workbook. Missing staff never deactivates master.

📅 Calendar — Request Calendar Grid
Portal is the normal request authority. Excel is Admin / Recovery only and is never silently merged with Portal.
Portal Requests — read only
Sync the selected month from the authenticated Portal snapshot. Excel is RECOVERY_ONLY. Source switching is explicit and never silent.
Recovery-only local grid. R = Request off, V = Vacation, BD = Birthday, T9-16 = Training 9-16.

Review before solve. Confirm workforce, Portal sync status/time/hash, and explicit request source before running shadow preview.
